How to Configure Internet Connection Status Tracking

CallAudit has the ability to track the status of your PC's Internet connection status.  When an active connection to the Internet is detected, the green Online indicator is display in the lower right area of the program status bar.

When this option is enabled, the program will periodically probe external web IP addresses as part of the process of determine Internet connectivity.  For some users with firewalls, this action may trigger firewall events about PING processing of ports on external systems.

To enable/disable Internet status tracking, do the following:

  1. Start CallAudit

  2. Go to System Preferences

  3. Go to the System tab

  4. Check or uncheck the option shown as "Monitor PC Web Connection"

  5. Click the OK button

When enabled, CallAudit will periodically check for program updates and other software update options on the MSI Internet area.
