Mountain Systems supports a desktop voice hardware device for use with CallAudit Voice in home and home office environments. This external device, which is NOT modem based, provides many more options than any existing modem product:

CallerID for name and number
CallerID on call waiting
Voice announce for CallerID on call waiting
Distinctive ring
Place incoming calls on hold
Play music while on hold
Call recording for all incoming calls
Connection options for a separate telephone or headset
Complete call duration for every call answered by either software of using connected telephone/headset
Complete tracking of every outgoing call made using connected telephone/headset
Dial out capability for placing outgoing calls
Use headset or connected speaker phone for outgoing calls or to answer incoming calls
Both serial port and USB based versions are available
Supports all versions of Windows from 95 through XP
